Zenways Family Walk and Picnic

We’d like to invite you to a family-friendly summer walk from Zenways London Dojo, Camberwell Grove to Brixton Prison on Sunday 3rd August.

The event will be a chance for a get-together and to reflect on incarceration (especially for young minds). We will be raising funds for Zenways’ work with prisoners, especially via the charities “The Prison Phoenix Trust” and “Angulimala”. Please donate via our Justgiving page here (coming soon).

On arrival at the prison we will circumambulate it, stop and contemplate incarceration at the prison entrance, and then have a bring-and-share picnic at the Brixton Windmill Gardens close by. The walk will be in a relaxed, meditative spirit. Families and kids are welcome. The aim is for this to be a reflective and social afternoon suitable for all ages.
